Chang-Jiang Xing, Conductor

Chang-Jiang Xing is a member of the China Musicians Association, the China Conducting Society, and the China Chorus Society. He is a Professor of Composition Theory at the Music Department of Inner Mongolia Academy of Arts, where he graduated with a major in theoretical composition. He has been engaged in music creation, teaching, and scientific research for many years and he has rich practical experience. While teaching, he has published many papers, composed musical works (vocal, instrumental, film and television music, dance music, etc.), and has won various awards from the Ministry of Culture and provincial and municipal ministries many times. His works have been broadcast on multiple CCTV channels and TV stations at local and national levels. In 2011 and 2013, he released “Colorful Melody – Xing Chang Jiang Vocal Music Collection” and “Colorful Melody” Vocal Composition Album” respectively.

In recent years, Mr. Xing has continued to study with the famous Japanese conductor Yuichi Takubo and the Mongolian conductor Mr. Batu Saihan.  During his further studies at the Central Conservatory of Music, he studied conducting methods under the reputed Chinese conductor Mr. Jiang Jinyi.  He successfully conducted the opening ceremony and special instrumental concert for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Academy of Arts, as well as various comprehensive concerts inside and outside the Academy, which were widely praised.
